Pizza Main Course Recipe
To make your pizza at home you can use our great Pizza Bases Europizza with no preservatives with or without already tomato sauce, easy and quick to cook and use our toppings or make your own dough.
Here a simple recipe for 4 pizzas
Ingredients:
600g Flour 00 W: 200-250
330g Water at room temperature
2 tea spoon Dried Yeast
2.5 tea spoon Fine sea salt
2 table spoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Method:
Put water and oil in a bowl (or in a kneading appliance). Cover with the flour and put yeast and salt in a different areas. (better if salt stay separate for a little bit to improve rising).
This will result in a doughball of 930g that has to be kneaded only once for 10/15 minutes.
Cover with a wet towel and let rise for 3-4 hours in a warmish place. (longer if using Professional Pizza Flour).
After that cut the dough in 4 and form 4 doughballs; place them in a tray covered with cling film and let them proof overnight in the fridge.
The next day take them out of the fridge 2 hours before baking.
Stretch the doughballs in ten inches disks and season them with your favourite ingredients.
Preheat the oven at 230°C with the baking tray inside the oven. Once the oven and the baking tray are both hot, place your pizza at lower shelf of your oven and cook it for 5/6 minutes.
Tips:
- We recommend dried yeast for a better consistency
- If you have a stone for your domestic oven, cook the Pizzas directly on it preheated at maximum temperature otherwise cook them in low hedged trays greased with olive oil.
- Place the pizza on the lower part of the oven to make sure bottom cooks well!
